Martin van Blerk

Martin van Blerk - Technology Entrepreneur in New Zealand

Martin van Blerk is an innovator who leads ventures in a variety of industries. He is also a skilled marketer who belongs to the New Zealand-based digital innovation hub Namaco, which includes more than 20 members and has contributed to the success of more than a dozen disruptive businesses in diverse industries. Along with the other team members at Namaco, Martin van Blerk helps innovative entrepreneurs flesh out their creative ideas and bring them to fruition with strategic development, dynamic marketing, and operational guidance.  

 

Martin van Blerk's other projects include Caliber and Pixelmon. He is the founder and CEO of Caliber, a software company with a proprietary applicant tracking system with customer relationship management capabilities. Designed and developed with support from an award-winning software development partner and high performing recruiters, the platform optimizes the recruiting process, including attracting and screening candidates, for employers and recruiting agencies, allowing human resource professionals to dedicate most of their time to more meaningful activities. 

 

Mr. van Blerk also created Pixelmon, which was acquired in 2022 by a Singaporean studio. Pixelmon is gaming platform that now boasts a community of more than 30,000 active users and has an advisory board with notable gaming leaders such as Bossa Games co-founder and former RuneScape executive Imre Jele and leading Web3 legal expert Ryan David Williams. Pixelmon also received an $8 million seed funding round in February 2024, a vote of confidence in its growth prospects.
